UPDATED: Best Water Playgrounds & Water Parks in Singapore (Many Are FREE!)

Beat the heat with the best water parks in Singapore - some with water slides, fountains, lazy rivers, wave pools and more. Plus we include our favourite free water playgrounds to take the kiddos for a splash!

Is there a better way for the kiddos to beat Singapore’s relentless heat than cooling off in a water playground or water park? We’ve rounded up our fave water parks (these are often ticketed and are dedicated to water slides and water activities) as well as free water playgrounds with water jets often found in neighbourhood HDBs or part of the best parks and playgrounds. Most of the featured water parks are all about high-energy fun (many aren’t deep enough to swim in - for that head to our article on swimming pools). From the water park in Buangkok Square Park to the water play at Toa Payoh (complete with flying fox, bucket swings, trampolines and a mini race track too) to the impressive water sluice gates at the Clusia Cove Lakeside water playground in Jurong. Plus, we handily break down which water playgrounds are free and which ones you have to pay for.

What to wear to the water playground

You probably already know this, but we’re sharing just in case for the new mamas and dads - the easiest way to dress the kids up for the water playground or water park is to get them straight into those swimsuits! That way kids can dive right into the water when you get there and everyone will be in good spirits. For babies and toddlers who are still in diapers, keep those on till you reach the water park and change into a swim diaper right before water play. Some mamas swear by disposable swim diapers, but reusable swim diapers will work even better - they don’t absorb water like disposable diapers do! Other things you should bring to the water park include sunscreen, sun tops, hats, floaties, beach toys plus snacks and drinking water.

Enjoy splashing around these water parks with your fam! Spot any of the water parks closed? Please let us know at [email protected]
