1. How much does the Airblade 160 cost? Have dealers increased prices?
Honda has brought two versions of the Air Blade 160cc to the market with the following corresponding listed prices:
- Standard Air Blade 160cc Price: $55.99 million VND
- Special Air Blade 160cc Price: $57.19 million VND
The prices mentioned above include VAT but exclude registration tax, documentation fees, etc., hence the on-road price of the Air Blade 160cc will range from $65-67 million VND, depending on the location.
However, these are just 'on-paper' prices, as Honda motorcycles are known to have dealership prices (HEAD) always higher than the suggested retail price, especially for a hot scooter like the newly launched Air Blade 160, so the price at the HEAD will certainly not be less than $60 million VND.
2. How many color options does the Air Blade 160 have?
As mentioned above, Honda offers two versions of the Air Blade 160: Standard and Special, each with different color choices. Specifically:

The Standard version offers a total of 3 color choices for users to choose from: Red-gray, green-gray, and black-gray, detailed as shown below:

The Special version of the Air Blade 160 has only one color option, which is a matte black-blue-gray shade, while the colors of the Standard version are glossy.
3. What's new with the Air Blade 160?
Right after unveiling the Air Blade 160cc on the morning of May 20th, Honda Vietnam also removed the Air Blade 150 from the website, indicating that the company has discontinued production of this model. So, what upgrades does the latest version, the Air Blade 160, bring compared to its predecessor?
3.1 Enhanced Engine Performance
In the Air Blade 160 generation, Honda has introduced the eSP+ 157cc engine instead of the eSP 149cc engine in the Air Blade 150. This enhances the bike's power output. Specifically, this engine generates a maximum power of 11.2 kW at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. This will enhance the riding experience for users, still within the A1 license category.
In addition to the increased power, fuel efficiency has also been improved. Specifically, Honda has announced that the fuel consumption of the Air Blade 160 is only 2.3 liters of petrol per 100 km.
3.2 New Frame and Design
Honda states that the Air Blade 160cc is equipped with an entirely new frame, making the bike more compact. Specifically, the weight of the bike is only 113 kg - quite light compared to its predecessor.
Moreover, the bike features different color combinations and the use of different logos and patterns compared to the Air Blade 150.
In addition to these changes, the Air Blade 160 still features ABS brakes, a spacious compartment with an integrated USB Type C charging port, and a fuel tank cap located near the front of the bike for convenient access. The bike is equipped with a full LCD display showing all necessary metrics, LED lighting system throughout the body, and front headlights that remain illuminated.
